12. What should I know to be comfortable making this decision? Bluntly, the best thing you should do is to determine what you need to know in order to have confidence that the decision to work with The First Energy Group is the right one. This is a business decision you have to make. And, everyone has their own style, expectations and standards. Now, with that in mind let us offer some insight. First of all review your proposal. You should understand exactly what we are offering you and determine if it has value to you. You should question anything that you are uncomfortable with or do not understand. Do some spot checks on our Schedule A (equipment listings). Specifically, look and see if the hours the equipment is running look realistic. This is usually the largest source of inaccuracy. And, while we don’t expect everyone to be an engineer you should look at least a couple of the line items to see what we’re doing and understand why you’re going to see savings.
